James 1:19
ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME & EXPERIENCE
I have 20+ years of experience in providing in person, telehealth and in-home therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I worked at Cook Children’s Hospital for 13 years and 2 years at an inpatient child adolescent psychiatric hospital. Prior to becoming an LPC, I worked for Child Protective Services and Juvenile Probation. I use Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family systems, eclectic, Christian and EMDR counseling techniques. My specialties include ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse/addiction, sexual addiction, marriage, and family counseling. I help identify specific needs and come alongside to provide effective coping skills. I also provide LPC supervision for LPC-Associates.
I have been conducting thorough home evaluations for the past 20 years in the Metroplex. I complete stepparent, contested divorce studies and reunification therapy for families in custody situations. I am able to provide thorough, timely and reasonably priced home evaluations.
I have been married for 30 years, have two grown children and in my spare time enjoy watching football and baseball, cruising and playing with my grand Golden Retrievers.
